About Us

Pure Gorge is a small natural skin care business located in Hood River, in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, Oregon, U.S.A. Owned and run by Kate Oldfield, who also owns the residential cleaning company Pure Gorge Cleaning.

Pure Gorge was created after Kate spent many years experimenting making natural skincare products to use on herself and her family, and cleaning products to use in her own home and in the homes she cleaned. Her interest in natural products first started in 2000, when she became a parent for the first time. Naturally protective her baby, she became hyper aware of the toxins in most commercial skincare and cleaning products, and began to make her own.
